Form Guidelines for Online Sits

  • Maintain the form as if you are at CERES or sesshin. When it’s time to sit, sit. When it’s time for kinhin, walk (if space allows), or stand. When it’s time for tea – drink tea.
  • If you can’t commit to an entire sit, please enter / leave the Zendo during kinhin. Please don’t enter / leave at any other time.
  • The Practice Facilitator will give instructions during the sit about muting sound and video. Please follow these instructions to help minimise issues with sound lag and visual distraction.
  • If you join the Zendo after the first sitting period, make sure you mute your sound and video when you enter (see the Zoom guide for details on how to do this).
