Please note – most Melbourne Zen Group activities have moved online for the duration of Covid 19 restrictions on in-person gatherings.

The physical Melbourne Zen Group dojo is located in the Learning Centre at the CERES Community Environment Park, Brunswick East.

If you are new to the Melbourne Zen Group, we recommend that you book in for a free orientation session as part of your visit – this will help you understand the shared ritual form that is an important part of our group practice.

CERES has a number of entrances. The closest entrance to the Learning Centre is located at the end of Lee Street. The Learning Centre is the second building to the right after you pass through the Lee Street gate.

The 96 tram (stop 27), the 503 bus, and the 508 bus all stop within 5 minutes walk form CERES.

Northcote train station (South Morang Line), the 86 tram (stop 31), and the 112 tram (stop 28) are all roughly a 20 minute walk (1.7km) from CERES via Sumner Avenue and the Merri Creek Trail.

Please see Public Transport Victoria for route and timetable information. The CERES website also has some route information.

Parking is usually available in Lee Street on Tuesday nights, however on Saturday mornings you are more likely to find parking in the CERES car park at the corner of Roberts and Stewart Streets (entry off Stewart Street).
