After having been in the new venue for 16 months, we finally had an opening to celebrate our new home. Among our visitors, we had venerable teachers, zen friends from regional Victoria, and also the minister and members of the Fitzroy Uniting Church who share the same building with us. Subhana Barzaghi, our teacher from Sydney, did the honours of opening the dojo. Regrettably, Susan Murhpy, our other teacher, could not make it due to illness.

Everyone enjoyed a shared lunch after the ceremony.
